New York Restomod, a muscle and street rod car parts company in Farmingdale, Long Island, NY will host a free event called “Cars and Coffee” to commemorate Father's Day June 16, 2013 from 8 am -11 am. All fathers and family members are invited to celebrate America’s love affair with muscle cars and street rods while enjoying a free continental breakfast.

 

This event shares the passion for the muscle and hot rod car culture many credit to the 1960s and 1970s on Long Island and the eye-catching tail fin cars, high performance roar of muscle cars and cruising the “boulevards” like Cross Bay Blvd, Connecting Highways, Astoria Park, Fountain Ave,  South Conduit, Deer Park Ave, etc.

 

Muscle cars and street rods like Chevelles, Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, etc. remain a very popular interest all over Long Island with the numbers of owners and those involved in restoring, hot rodding, and restomoding their cars is growing.

 

This event will be gathering of those interested in preserving Long Island’s enthusiasm for muscle cars and rods, while sharing family time, breakfast and memories. Those remembering the days of muscle cars and street rods, the sights and sounds of exciting experiences can share their memories of those fabulous days when speed and high performance horse power rather than gas mileage were the style.
